Following last night’s AGM Members need to renew for 2026.

This can be done online (preferred) via a Google form, linked in the top area of the members sign up page. There will also be a link to download a WORD version to complete and email if you prefer. Subscriptions were set at £40 by the AGM (down from £45 last year). Bank details are in the form please use the reference “subs + your name”.

We look forward to you seeing you for a bumper year of rowing, regattas, challenges and great social activities.

A now famous village tradition with all the bells and whistles, refreshments, raffles and a lot of laughs!

Entry by donation with mince pies, sherry , teas provided at the interval. No ticket required.

FCRC organise the New Year Ceilidh in the village hall every 31st December from 2000hrs to 0000hrs

Live ceilidh dancing, games and lots of fun

Bring your own bottle and snacks. Children welcome.

Tickets go like hot cakes! Selling from the Village Shop from 11am on 29th November. Get there early. Numbers limited!

The rowing club are hosting a village coffee morning to boost club funds. Come along and join in with pots of tea, fresh coffee, traybakes, scones, jam and cream! Have a chat, talk about rowing technique, chat to the villagers about the benefits of rowing!!

We will be looking for a few volunteers, baking donations on the the morning. There will be a sign up sheet on the members page for anyone able to help.

This is a great fun event for the village and is a super fundraiser for the club too.

Come celebrate Joppa’s 10th birthday at the piers, bring a picnic, some fizz and a blanket! Hoping to have both boats out weather permitting and have short member “fun ” rows. An informal fun evening for members to join together.

Joppa was built in the village in a garage over a chilly winter by a very skilled and enthusiastic crew of local people. She has become a bit of a treasure to our village and the club, so come along and say Happy Birthday to her!
