SUMMARY:Xmas Trees from the Land
DESCRIPTION:We warmly invite you to come to the Findhorn Hinterland on Saturday 2nd December (11am-2pm\, Woodland Shelter) and choose YOUR Christmas Tree from the land. For this service we welcome donations towards the Findhorn Hinterland Trust’s work in conserving and enhancing our local environment.The trees are exotic Lodgepole Pines from the NW of North America that have become invasive on our rare dune and maritime heath habitats – this is a win/win/win situation whereby you get a beautiful Christmas tree for your home for a very reasonable price\, the land and its native fauna and flora is helped by the control of an invasive species and the FHT receives some money to help with its work on a special piece of land loved by many!We will have a fire\, some mulled drink and nibbles – this is a social event too! PS: If you would like to have your tree earlier\, please be in touch with Kajedo Wanderer\, FHT Land Manager (landmanager@findhornhinterland.org or 07464 89 08 66)
