DESCRIPTION:Findhorn Village VE Day celebrations will be held on Thursday evening the 8th May.  The village has organised a service to commemorate VE day. \n\n\n\n1830   Church Bell and remembrance at the War Memorial \n\n\n\nCoastal Rowers in both Joppa and Mairi will be on the water  along with other craft suitably attired with bunting! Launching time TBA   \n\n\n\n2000    Gathering between the piers  – bring own picnic and drinks  \n\n\n\n2130   Lighting of Cresset (Beacon)  between the Piers

SUMMARY:Joppa's 10th Birthday  Friday 9th May
DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate Joppa’s 10th birthday at the piers\, bring a picnic\, some fizz and a blanket! Hoping to have both boats out weather permitting and have short member “fun ” rows. An informal fun evening for members to join together. \n\n\n\nJoppa was built in the village in a garage over a chilly winter by a very skilled and enthusiastic crew of local people. She has become a bit of a treasure to our village and the club\,  so come along and say Happy Birthday to her! 🙂 \n\n\n\nSign up sheets for those who wish to join in are on the website – to give us an idea of numbers.
