Return to rowing

posted in: Uncategorized | 5

Now that Moray is in Level 2 we can start rowing again. I’ve posted sign-up sheets for the rest of May and for June- rowing on Wed evening and weekends. Weekend rows have an extra 15 minutes built in to enable the first crew to clean the boat and leave before the second crew arrives to keep us within the 6 people from 6 households rule in level 2. Please read the updated club covid guidance before signing up. Looking forward to seeing you all back out on the water. Kay

I’m currently recovering from shoulder surgery so it will be a while before I’m able to return but looking forward to it sometime this summer.
Wishing everyone a happy summer with lots I’d sunshine and rowing!

    Hi there Kay and All,
I’m contacting on behalf of a local Mother and Daughter group. Is it possible for us to arrange a day of rowing for our girls aged 10-13? This would be with a view to confidence building and offering them alternatives to screen time after lock down.
Please let me know how/if this might be possible for them. Happy to cover costs. It would be absolutely wonderful to make this happen. Many thanks, Dee

      Hi Dee,
We will be discussing your request at our committee meeting on Monday and the club will get back to you after that.
      Kind regards,
      Kay

Sorry, the calendar is not up to date but we row Saturday and Sunday with the time varying according to the tide, and Wednesday evening at 7pm
