Become a Coastal Rower

Findhorn Coastal Rowing Club is a very welcoming club and encourages people of all ages (over 16) and abilities to join. We do a number of “Have a Go Rows” for people interested to come and have a row in our lovely Skiff “Joppa”.

Things to know if you want to have a go at Rowing

You don’t need to be able to swim you just need to let us know

Rowing can be strenuous so please ensure you are fit and well and let us know any medical conditions

You will need to sign a disclaimer prior to rowing. Everyone rows at their own risk

Wear something sensible – track suit /leggings/ t shirt / shirt/ trainers or water shoes/ wellies.

You may get wet feet getting in the boat so be prepared.

Everyone has to wear a buoyancy aid which we can provide

Children can have a go if they have an adult with them and a suitable fitting buoyancy aid (The club does not have children buoyancy aids and at the moment we do not have U16 as part of the club)
